| Appropriate Web Sites: North Carolina Department of Instruction This site offers strategies for mathematics instruction for grades 3-5, as well as information on early childhood development and computer technology skills. Parts of the files are all ready for you to use, but you will need to be able to open them in Adobe Acrobat. Click here for to download Acrobat for FREE. AAA Math An engaging site that offers hundreds of pages of basic math skills, with interactive practices on every page. In addition, there is an explanation of the math topic on each page and many challenge exercises on each page as well. You pick the grade level and topic. Aunty Math This is a cool site for kids to go to. It has weekly math challenges that they can work on to try and figure out the solutions to the problems presented. When they have an answer, they can wirte to Aunty Matha nd tell her how they arrived at their answer.

| Example Lesson Plans: ReviseWise Maths-Angles ReviseWise Math - Angles, is a learning program available at the ReviseWise website. It is broken into three parts that relate learning about angles. The first part is the "Activity" that uses text, informative graphics, and interactive questioning. The student would maneuver through the activity that provides information about the different types of angles and the angle rules of a triangle and a rectangle. Then, the student would move on to the "Fact Sheet" to review even more angle information. Once read, the student would take the "Test" provided. Upon completion of the Test, the program reviews with the student their score on each question with a hurrah for correct answers and a helpful fact for incorrect answers.
