Mrs. Rubin's Language Arts Elementary Art Class/ CD Project

"Students are to imagine that the main character in their novel recently began a new career as a singer song writer. Their new CD contains a hit single.
The rubric included:

1. Questionnaire about novel
2. Album Model:
a. Jacket
b. Front Cover: design capturing theme of album, name of singer/songwriter(main character), album title, title of hit single
c.Paragraph Biography of singer/songwriter (main character)
d. Written lyrics/Words of hit single
e. Back Cover: List titles of eight songs related to theme
Many students went above and beyond, singing theirs for the class, or actually cutting their own CD. We were mightily impressed with thier thought, talent and creativity!"
