Here is a general rule of thumb:
If you are sending an e-mail to someone in the HPS district from a non-district
computer and you need to know their e-mail address, it should be: the first
seven letters of their last name plus the first initial of their first name and
then the @ symbol and then howellschools.com. (i.e. farinaj@howellschools.com, liue@howellschools.com, colburnc@howellschools.com)
Now, there are a few exceptions to
this rule and these would include people who share the same last name and same
first initial of the first name. (i.e. Jan Clay and John Clay) To find their
e-mail address (short of asking them personally) when you are logged into
Microsoft Exchange (Web Access Outlook) click the “Find Names” icon in the left
side of the window. This will open the “Find Names” window. In the “Display
Name” field, type the last name of the person you are looking for. Click “Find”
and this will display all people with that last name. Select the person you are
actually looking for and click on that name. You will then see that person’s
e-mail address.
