Health & Fitness Home
How healthy are you really ? What do you eat? How much do you exercise? Your task for this part of the project is to keep track of these things for one week. To begin, click here and explore this great site all about food and nutrition. Click the "Food and Nutrition" icon at the top of the page (on the new website) and then below where it says, "Spotlight Zone" click and play the game to see about the choices you make in the cafeteria each day. Go to this site and play the "Live or Die" game. Have fun.
Take a look at this site and evaluate how you might use the information to make healthier eating and exercise choices. This is strictly for you to explore and to add to your knowledge base.
Create an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of everything you eat for seven days. List what you have for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day and any snacks you eat in between those meals. Before turning this in to Ms. Colburn, write a one page analysis paper on ways you can improve on your weak areas and enhance your strengths. Do this paper in Microsoft Word and save it in your named folder on the S: DRIVE. Call the file "Health and Fitness Analysis."
