I am a leader! I am a lifelong learner and and I am passionate about teaching and technology! I grew up in Ohio, but have been a Michigan resident for more than half of my life now. This is my tenth year at Howell Public Schools and my seventh at Highlander Way Middle School. I look forward to meeting new students and seeing those I have had before in my classes this year. I want this to be the best year ever for all of you!

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio and my Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. I continue to take graduate classes from various universities but most recently from University of Phoenix Online. Additionally, I have served as the Mayor of Dansville in Dansville, Michigan since 2000. Click here to view my resume'.

I am married and have three adult children, two adult step-children and three step-grand-daughters. In my spare time, I enjoy following sports, most especially the Michigan State women's and men's basketball teams and the Ohio State University Buckeye Football team. I am a Detroit Redwings and Piston's fan as well.
